This is a continuation of my “100 Things” post from the other day. Here’s part three, the final installment:
67. I prefer the classics over contemporary literature.
68. I understand “mean” more than I understand “rude.”
69. I often wish for a simpler life.
70. I always make a face when I look in the mirror. I don’t know why.
72. I have a true 6th sense.
73. Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day.
74. I brush my teeth about 6 times a day.
75. I am not a good packer. I pack way too much.
76. I’d like to live in Disneyland, on Main Street, overlooking the Candy Palace, even though I don’t like candy.
77. I like to name inanimate objects (my car is Annie, my Kindle is Duckie, etc).
78. I talk a lot.
79. I am incredibly loyal until I am crossed.
80. I like a good bit of gossip. but I can keep a promise if asked.
81. Before every vacation, I have a mini-meltdown.
82. I prefer pencils over pens.
83. My books are shelved by reading order.
84. I will always lend an ear to a friend in need. No matter how busy I am.
85. My fave food is soup.
86. I don’t shy away from conflict.
87. I don’t hold grudges.
88. I believe that TV, in moderation, is not bad for children.
89. I’d be a vegetarian if it weren’t for IN N OUT burger.
90. My pantry is a bit out of control.
91. My work desk is neat, but inside one of my desk drawers is a drawer full of chotchkes and Happy Meal toys.
92. After my morning walk, I have to blow-dry my hair again because I cannot deal with frizz.
93. My fave flowers are peonies and daisies but not together.
94. Hand lotion is a must and it has to be Bath & Body Work’s Lavender Vanilla.
95. To me, a book that’s chosen from the heart, makes the best gift ever.
96. Nearly everything I watch on TV is recorded so that I can zip through the commercials.
97. I detest the ad/channel ID bubble that appears at the bottom of TV programs and the animated ones are even worse.
98. My fave vacations are “do nothing” vacations. My family does not agree. They are “see and do” types.
99. I make a mean pot of chili.
100. Movie popcorn can make, or break a movie for me.

I like 80. We all love our gossip. But I can keep a secret. Me and my BFF have a saying when we don’t want the other to tell anything. “It’s between me you and the gate post.” That gate post knows a lot. LOL
I’m with you on 98. I like to veg, but they like to run around and do things so I’m so tired I need a vacation from the vacation.
And my laptop is named Mr. Darcy. LOL

Ti, I have loved these lists you put together. Funny with blogging but you think you get to know them based upon their book loves but then you realize when you read something like this that those insights are just one facet of that person.
BTW, picked up a copy of Homecoming after I realized I let someone else take my first. Wish me luck.
This list of mine took some time. It helped to break it up into three parts. As I look back on it, I can honestly say that as a whole, it’s a good snapshot of me.

I agree with 98…when we went to Mexico I was content just relaxing on the beach every day while they were out gallavanting. lol
I identify with so many of these and yet if you asked me to come up with a list of 100 things I don’t think I could think of them! Great job!
Although this list was broken up into three posts, it was many months in the making. Every time something came to me, I jotted it down to include later. There’s no way that I could have come up with 100 items in one shot.
I am with you on the listening ear. The world will stop if there is a friend in need. I also got a pretty good chuckle out of the mini-meltdown prior to vacations. You and my husband would not do well together. His is very predictable, and is usually brought on by my over-packing!!!!!
I wish I was more mellow when it comes to vacation, but I’m a bit uptight until about day 2. More on that later this week.
So funny that you have a mini-meltdown before vacations–I do exactly the same thing. A week before we left on this trip, my boss was talking to me about getting ready for it and I told her exactly how the days before would pan out. Me staying up ridiculously late the night before–even though I had started making lists and packing days in advance. Then me completely going nuts on everyone for not packing right, not being ready on time, not helping get the house closed up before we left. Fortunately my kids are now old enough that they just know this is how mom operates and it’s best not to agrue and know that as soon as I get in the car, I’m good to go.
#83: really? How does that work?
I have one bookcase that holds my TBR stack and all of the books in that case are shelved in the order in which I plan to read them. There are usually about 10-25 books in this case.
I have another bookcase in the loft that holds the books that I’ve read and plan to keep. As I read them, I just place the newly read book behind the others. I don’t keep that many books so this case only has about 30 or so books in it.
Whew…but at least I feel that I know a ton of stuff about you…have a great week end…

There are so many I could respond to, I’ll have to just choose a few.
I pack way too much too, and found that out firsthand when I was the one responsible for hauling my luggage this vacation since my husband hurt his arm (usually he insists on carrying it for me).
I am so much a pen person over pencils. The scratchy sensation the pencils make on paper gives me the chills.
Shelving books by reading order – well I think it’s too late for me to even consider that. Not to mention how much I’m already struggling to find my books with my color organization system. Alpha by author was so much easier, but the colors are so pretty I haven’t changed it yet (plus that’s a huge amount of work and I’m lazy right now).
i am also a freak for soup. i have no idea what it is about soup, but it’s one of my favorite things to eat. like you, i can also whip up a mean pot of (turkey) chili. 🙂 we’ll have to swap recipes.
I wish I brushed my teeth more…wow 6 times per day! That’s crazy! ok, unusual. You must have the cleanest teeth! I name inanimate objects as well…the car Anna and I drove around in we called Charlee until we got the dog…but my hubby and I named our car Turtle…lol
I also love soup and chili!
I don’t like going to the dentist so brushing my teeth is a preventative measure…big time.
I LOVE B&B’s Lavendar Vanilla. I hace their body wash and body lotion.
