Production week for Peter Pan ends with tonight’s seven o’clock performance. The Girl will be sad about it ending but track starts Monday. Yep, this Monday so she won’t have much time to think about it.
Right Now:
We’ve got church in the morning but the middle-school ministry is not meeting since they are at winter camp, so I have the evening off. The Girl does not though as she will be on stage. I am usually backstage with her but something happened with the scheduling this time around and it didn’t work out. I’ve worked every closing show for so many years I am not even sure what I will do with myself.
This Week:
I have a referral for my foot first thing Monday morning. It feels so much better but something is not healing right because my foot clicks when I walk. Clicks and pops and feels like it’s going to give out. It’s a really weird feeling. Like, piano wire getting tangled up. The x-ray taken this week shows a somewhat fresh break and this happened over a month ago so it really shouldn’t look like that. But other than the foot, I feel great!! Still living on my sleep stores from winter break.
Nothing else going on except track practices and a book club meeting to discuss Ghettoside.
Reading:
Right now, I am reading Lost & Found and it’s just so quirky and fun but also a little deep. It reminds me of Where’d You Go, Bernadette which I absolutely loved.
Watching:
I haven’t been watching too much of anything lately.
Making:
Sigh. Making stuff requires a trip to the market and I’m really not feeling it. Plus, I received a really crazy weather alert on my phone which made it sound like some pretty severe weather is coming our way. If I go though, I will probably pick up soup fixings.
Grateful for:
Talented kids. I love, love, love that my kids are into the arts. I love to see them on stage. It just fills me with joy.
