2022 Summer Reading List

2022 Summer Reading

This year, my summer list includes some older titles so basically this is a list of books that I hope to read this summer. Many have been waiting patiently for me to pick them up so why not now? Here they are.

The Lincoln Highway by Amor Towles
Sea of Tranquility by Emily St. John Mandel
The IT Girl by Ruth Ware
How How We Go In the Dark by Sequoia Nagamatsu
Beartown Fredrik Backman
It All Comes Down to This Therese Anne Fowler
The Homewreckers Mary Kay Andrews
Elevation by Stephen King
The Swimmers by Julie Otsuka
The Candy House by Jennifer Egan

What books are you looking forward to this summer?

  1. Great List! I can’t believe there is a King book you haven’t read:) I really enjoyed Lincoln Highway and The Swimmers. Have fun!

  2. Ooohhh…Beartown. its part of a trilogy with only the first 2 books written. He is an auto-buy. You will devour it. Cant wait for your review

  3. The only ones I’m sure of reading are Bear Town and Elevation. I loved both of them! I’ve loved every book I’ve read by those two authors!

  4. Fun list. I loved Beartown, but haven’t read the follow-up yet. I didn’t care for the movie version of the book, though. I may have watched too soon after reading the book.

  5. This is a good list. I probably will get to The Swimmers and The Lincoln Highway sometime, and perhaps I will let you vet a Sea of Tranquility for me, ha. I plan to make my summer list next week. Enjoy your reads.

  6. I’ve read two of your books. LincilhbHighwat about rural adolescents reminds me of my current read, Demon Copperhead by Barbara Kingsolver. Both very good books.
