I don’t want to jinx it but 2022 should be better and hopefully filled with some really good reads. We all need something to look forward to.

  1. I’m looking forward to We Begin at the End, The Push, Count the Ways and Taste. One of these will be my first read of 2022. Can you guess which one? 🙂

    Happy New Year, Ti!

  2. The four of these that I read this year will all appear in my top ten for the year and Rules of Civility did in the year I read that.

  3. Billy Summers really was good, wasn’t it?! Why did I not put it on my list?

The Invisible Husband is on at least 2 top blogger lists so I need to make sure I read it sooner rather than later since it’s on my shelf.

  4. I’ve read and mostly enjoyed 7 of your top 10. I love these lists and added Piranisi to my 2022 list. Hope 2022 is a better year for you. It seem several bloggers are happy to see it gone. I’m at the “I don’t want to wish my life away stage” so trying to make the most out of every day even during during this 2-year virus mess.

    Happy New Year

  5. I forgot to add Anxious People to my must read in 2022 list. I have a copy but wasn’t able to get to it this past year. I am so glad to see The Invisible Husband of Frick Island on your list. It was one of my top 10 as well, although didn’t make my top five. I hope you have a Happy New Year, Ti.

  6. Nice list Ti. I liked Rules of Civility too. I need to read Piranesi and Count the Ways … many people seem to be loving those 2 books! Much happiness to you in 2022! And happy reading.

  7. I have been seeing Count The Ways on many lists. I need to check it out. Piranesi is going to be on mine for sure – it was one of my last reads of 2021 as well.

  8. Taste made my top list. Love your graphic for this list, btw. I wish I’d been more creative. LOL Billy Summers was great, but didn’t make the cut for me.

  9. We’ve got some overlap this year – Count the Ways and Taste! I also enjoyed Anxious People… and Rules of Civility was my favorite novel the years it was released (and is still my favorite by Towles).

We Begin at the End is a must read for 2022. I had to return Piranesi unread last month, but will check it out again. Wishing you and your family a happy and healthy 2022!
