I’m not sure you want me to be on a read-a-long given my epic failure with Ulysses so far! But this sounds wonderful.
Oh shush!! I know people typically want readable books for read-alongs but Ulysses is just one of those that you have to check off. This King book will be a totally different game. For sure!
Ah, another King writer in that family. Amazing! Don’t you just wonder what they talk about at their Thanksgiving table? Or their Halloween table? LOL

And his wife writes too. I read one of her books once. Totally different in style but I remember liking it.
The reality of an entire family writing could be a premise for a book. Especially if they were to all write horror. I just love King. He reads other horror authors and is just always so excited about the STORY which is why I love his books so much.
I heard about this one and meant to ask you about it. I know you LOVE King, so I figured you would enjoy it 🙂 I definitely plan on reading it. I think its so cool they collaborated on this book – how fun!
The premise is so freaky!!! It literally gives me chills.
This is the first I’ve heard about it, but believe me that I am squealing with delight over here!! No clue about the readalong, but you know I will be reading it!

700 pages is awfully long, but I’m probably in for the readalong! I am still regretting Under the Dome, but that’s the only King I’ve wished I had the time back on. Spring-forward makes me cranky, too. We won’t get the extra hour back in time to read Sleeping Beauties with it, either!
Under the Dome’s ending was kind of hokey. I mean, I love King but it really was. This new book sounds pretty creepy and the idea of men surviving without women? That is like the end of the world, isn’t it?? LOL.
