My reading was down due to the four months post surgery where I absolutely could not read anything! Two steroids ramped me up so much I could not concentrate. BUT, I still did pretty well. Lots of good reads and ended with a total of 42.

So happy to see someone else loving Sandwich! It was such an unexpected surprise for me. Gave it a gift for Christmas!
Sandwich was amazing. I laughed out loud. It’s SO similar to my life with adult kids. We are definitely the right audience for that book.
Spoiler alert – Sandwich is on my best of list, too! 🙂
My book group is reading James, as well as All the Colors of the Dark in 2025. I’m planning a year of reading Elizabeth Strout (many re-reads of her books in there), and am looking forward to her latest. Pete and Alice is on my “To Buy” list and I hope to get to it early in the year. I also hope to read All the Water in the World, as well as Like Mother, Like Mother. Here’s to another year of great books! Happy New Year, Ti!
What an excellent plan. I plan to add more Strout to my reading as well. I really love her writing.
I love seeing everyone’s favorites! I have All the Colors of the Dark and Tell Me Everything waiting for me on my shelves and am really looking forward to them.
I love all the lists too. Happy New Year!! I’m watching the parade on TV and easing into my first book.
Love that some of the books I loved are on your list. I have yet to compile my list.
I haven’t read any of these, but hoping to pick up Clear in 2025!
Clear is really lovely and SHORT. Like 250 pages maybe.
Great list! I like how our reads have overlapped over the years. I have read 9 of the ones you have listed. You had an amazing year coming back post-surgery. I look forward to seeing what you read in 2025. Wishing you a great year.
