My reading pace took a real dive in September so I didn’t hit my reading goal for the year. For this reason, my list of favorites is short but I still wanted to include them because I really enjoyed them.
Daisy Jones & The Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid
No Exit by Taylor Adams
The Friends We Keep by Jane Green
See? Short list but all stories that stayed with me in some way. All links point to my review of each book so check them out if you are looking for something to read.
May 2020 be filled with great books!
I read the first 2 of your favorites and although I liked them, they didn’t make my tops list. Hope 202 is the perfect year for you all around!
I’d hoped to read the Jane Green this year, but never got to it. We’ll see what 2020 brings. Happy New Tear, Ti!
The first two are books I hope to read in 2020, but who knows if I will get to them. LOL
I’m one of the few people who didn’t love Daisy Jones.
Happy New Year!
I’ve only read No Exit from your list, but I agree that it was a good one. Happy New Year!
I love it when you recap your favorites for the year. Seems like any book you’ve recommended and I picked up, I’ve loved it! Amazon is offering Daisy Jones and the Six as a Deal of the Day on Kindle for only $2.99.
Downloaded! And I will look for the The Friends We Keep. I love stories about friendship and where life takes the friends who grew up together.
Thanks for the list and Happy New Year!
I just finished Daisy Jones and the Six and unexpectedly loved it.
Happy New Year 🥳
I have not yet read any of your favorites, but they do sound good and are on my wish list. I hope you have a great 2020, both in reading and in your personal life, Ti!
I was excited last week to be able to pick up a second-hand copy of Daisy Jones and the Six for $2 at a charity sale. I’m really looking forward to reading it this year. I’m so glad you recommend it.
Oh! You scored with Daisy!! I hope you enjoy it.
Yes! Daisy Jones was great!
Did you see that Daisy Jones is going to be a tv “mini-series?” Elvis’ granddaughter playing Daisy.
When I first knew of the TV series they had not cast Daisy yet. That is really interesting and I can see that working out pretty well.
