Who am I kidding? This is just another opportunity for me to drool over a few bookish items that have caught my eye. Shall we have a look?
I don’t buy cookbooks too often but this one makes my soul sing. It’s all about welcoming people into your home. Love Welcome Serve by Amy Nelson Hannon.
I just heard about this one and it sounds very good, Such a Fun Age by Kiley Reid.
And this one looks pretty juicy, The Playground by Jane Shemilt.
Oh! And this print! 1Q84 Art Print – Murakami (Etsy).
What’s on your list?
It’s been a hectic year so this summer, my list is short and sweet! I don’t want to be tied to a big, long, list of books I know I won’t get to so instead, I picked four that I know I will read and then I will spice it up with some psychological thrillers here and there as the mood strikes.
Here is what I plan to read:
The Summer Demands by Deborah Shapiro
The Friends We Keep by Jane Green
City of Girls by Elizabeth Gilbert
Walden by Henry David Thoreau
I felt like I needed a classic in there somewhere. So, what do you think? Doable, right? Also, I think it gives me the flavor of summer but allows me a little flexibility when it comes to mood reading. I can still fit books in here and there without going totally off course.
I know many of you posted your lists while I was gone so I will be sure to look for them.
