Vulture Verses

Looking for something to do with the kids this weekend? The Eaton Canyon Nature Center is holding their Fall book event this Saturday. If you live anywhere near Pasadena, you might want to check it out. It’s free!

This year’s event features Diane Lang, who’ll be sharing her new book Vulture Verses: Love Poems for the Unloved.

If you are local to me or live anywhere near Pasadena, California, you might be interested in Eaton Canyon’s Summer Book Festival! It takes place on Saturday, June 18, 2011,  from 9:30am-3:30pm and it’s FREE!

I know lots of  you are looking for fun, inexpensive things to do with the kids so maybe this is something you can check out. They’ll be author talks, presentations, book signings, story telling and crafts for the kids!
