Merry Christmas!

CHRISTMAS 2015

It’s Christmas Eve and hopefully by now, those of you who celebrate Christmas have settled into the joys of the season. It can certainly be a crazy time for many of us and for some of us, a sad time too.

I’ve been praying for many of you. Those of you who have lost family this year, those of you recovering from surgery or those scheduled for surgery in the near future, those of you who have babies coming any moment! You are all in my thoughts.

Tonight we are going to  my MIL’s house. I am cooking up a big pot of collard greens to go with the ham and it will be a nice, quiet evening. Tomorrow, breakfast at home then dinner out and then…The Force Awakens.

The Hub is at work but will be home early. The kids are still sleeping. I am drinking coffee, writing up this post and catching up on the news with the Otter Pup sleeping on my lap. The Christmas lights are twinkling and I am about to light some candles because, well, why not?

Merry Christmas to you all!

    1. Same to you and your wife!

I’ve been thinking about my one “word” for next year. I know you do that too. I didn’t do too well with my word this past year. I need to really think this one through. I feel as if this next year will be a big one for us. The Teen is graduating and all that.

    1. Merry Christmas to you guys, as well! Hope you are having a relatively pain-free day.

I am journaling a bit trying to come up with my one word for 2016 and then I am throwing myself into the shower.

  1. I hope everything went according to plan 🙂 Guess what? We went to see Star Wars a second time (for Dad’s benefit…) I think it grows on ya 😛 Happy holidays, Ti – I hope you’re feeling better? Hugs ❤

    1. I loved the movie! As you know, we had reserved seats Christmas evening and apparently all sorts of Hollywood actors go at night too because we had some recognizable faces all around us. It was awesome.

My daughter is in love with BB-8 and Rey.

  2. I hope you had a great Christmas holiday! We were busy, but it was good. I had a great time with old friends and new. We even exchanged gifts with KitKat’s best friend from Preschool. She and her family came over for dinner. They played games and ran around having a great time. It was good.

I hope you loved Force Awakens like I did. I was so pleased with it.
