I’m not sure why this blew my mind but it did. King announced on Facebook that Mr. Mercedes, which I am happily reading now, is actually book one in a trilogy! Be sure to check out the announcement because he includes a handy character list that you will want to hang on to for later.
I am not a huge fan of trilogies but it’s King!! Oh, and the next book (Finders Keepers) comes out the first half of next year! At least he won’t keep us waiting for too long.
Oh, and we can’t forget Revival which comes out in November. Lots of good reading coming up.

I saw this the other day! I haven’t picked up Mr. Mercedes yet, but like you said … it’s King! I will be picking it up sooner rather than later!

I DO hate trilogies! But for King, I can make an exception. And if we had to wait very long for book #2, it would only be because he was feeling mean. That guy can freaking CRANK out the books so he’d better get moving. Now that I have finished my TV series, I can properly dedicate time to getting this read. With my character list in hand.
A trilogy! Wow! How cool! I know you love King, so I bet you are excited about this. I need to get my hands on a copy of this one ASAP! I think it will make a great summer read 🙂
