I’ve never been to Jersey Shore so I can’t say how close it is to that. I know that I did not see The Situation. That I know!
I was envious when I heard you were getting beach time. That looks beautiful! My kids go crazy over those claw games. They aren’t any good at them either, but they insist on playing!

Not really. I read a bit of Full Stars, No Dark but just a few pages. Hard to read when the sky and beach are calling.

It never got hot hot in So Cal this summer. At the pier it was around 75 degrees. A perfect temp!

I took the food shots with my phone’s camera but they didn’t turn out all that well. This gluten-free lifestyle sucks when you visit places like this. No funnel cakes for me. No churros, No corn dog. Humph! I still managed to get glutenized by my lobster plate because they cooked the fries with the same oil as the fried/battered fish.
I love the sound of the waves, the smell of salt water and everything that goes with it. You have been enjoying summer!
I’m thrilled to be home, it will take a few days to re-enter (I’ve been gone since July 26th). Hoping you are feeling good this month!

Your photos are outstanding! The colors are amazing. What camera were you using?
I used my SLR, Nikon D60. When I use this camera, I always use the manual settings, which takes way longer but the results are always better than my point and shoot Canon (or my Droid if I am lazy!)
