The resemblance is remarkable! He is a cutie.

The book is about the tradition of Elf placement and how he watches over the children to see if they’ve been good or bad. Every day you hide him in different places so the child thinks he’s been moving around to watch them. He then reports back to Santa. It’s actually sort of creepy and with The Girl, she gets freaked out over the Easter Bunny, the Tooth Fairy and Santa visiting her house so the jig is up for us. BUT, she still likes for me to hide him.
