It’s late in the day but a late Sunday Salon post is better than none, right? We spent the weekend in Palm Desert. It’s Spring Break for the kids and since my husband couldn’t take all of it off from work, me made it a short weekend thing and it was very nice. We visited relatives, visited the zoo and ate enough food to last us a few weeks. Seriously. The weather was a warm 75 the entire time we were there. Nice.

We got to feed the giraffes!
The view from one of the nature trails at the zoo.
The golf course where we hung out a bit.
Here’s another pic from the golf course.
Overall it was a fun weekend but I didn’t get too much reading done. I DID buy Half of a Yellow Sun from one of the big superstores but I couldn’t find any used bookstores out there. If anyone knows of any please let me know!
I posted mine late today too! 🙂 Giraffes are so cool, lol.
Thank you for sharing the beautiful photos, Ti. I love the one of the giraffes. 🙂 It sounds like you had a great time!
gorgeous….I am jealous…I want to teleport myself into those photos.
These photos are awesome Ti! Half of a Yellow Sun is a good book pick!
Fun at the zoo and nonstop eating–what more can a person ask for? I’m glad you had a fun spring break Ti!
