The Sunday Salon: February 15, 2009

How was your Valentine’s Day? We stayed home and ordered Chinese take-out which was really, really yummy. I wanted to watch Forgetting Sarah Marshall but after the kids went to bed, we ended up watching Sex and the City (the movie) as my husband had not seen it. We enjoyed it. Since I had already seen the movie, I was reading Things I Want My Daughters To Know by Elizabeth Noble. My husband hates it when I read and watch a movie at the same time but I have no problems with it. I am more than half-way through the book and slowly it is growing on me, but I am not in love with the characters and it’s causing me to skim a bit.

Today I am attending a Creative Memories scrapbooking workshop for a few hours and then later tonight we are going to see a theatrical production of High School Musical. My kids are really looking forward to it.

So for the most part, my weekend has been nice and relaxing and that’s exactly how I like it! How about yours?

  1. We went to see Coraline yesterday and I didn’t read during the movie. 😉 I do read at home during a movie or TV show.

  2. My weekend was very quiet because my hubby had to work all weekend! We made all these Valentines day plans and then he got called in to work. We did go our to dinner though when he got home.

  3. I found the Elizabeth Noble book you’re reading ok, not great, not terribly memorable. I don’t think my husband would want to watch SATC with me!

  4. It sounds like a good weekend for you, Ti. Every time I read about you getting Chinese take out it gives me the inclination to do the same!
