Back From Production Week

The Music Man has ended and I am back at work today trying to get motivated. Emphasis on “trying”. It’s amazing how much stacks up when you are gone for just a couple of days. My son did a great job as the Constable. His costume was three sizes too big but in the end, it sort of looked funny that way and seemed to work for what he needed it for.

My son is a funny kid. He is one of those that blends right into a scene if he needs to (he is the 10-year-old in this picture). We were all cracking up backstage because he ended up in scenes that he wasn’t supposed to be in, just because he wanted to be there. He was like Zelig.

All of the performers did an amazing job and the pics are starting to pop-up all over Facebook. I love musical theatre and look forward to The Wizard of Oz which starts in March. Yep! One short month of rest.
Now I can catch-up on all my reading and TV watching and not to mention…blogging!
Note: sorry if you got this three times in your reader. I am having formatting issues!

  1. He’s a what, he’s a what, he’s a music man! 🙂 I love this musical! I was in high school drama – it always sucked when it all ended and everyone went back to “normal” lives.cecilia

  2. Oh that is awesome and it sounds like the kids had a great time! My daughter got the lead role in My Fair Lady that they will be performing next month. I will just have to post some pics of that one after their performances.

  3. What fun! I was into drama in high school and just loved all the “hubbub” of play time. As for Music Man, my younger brother in law was in the when HE was 10 yrs old – how funny!
