Andrew Davidson Interview (The Gargoyle)

The Gargoyle, by Andrew Davidson is getting a lot of press. I have seen it featured on many of the book blogs that I visit and I must say, I am dying to get my hands on it!

Here is a snippet from Barnes & Noble:

The narrator of The Gargoyle is a very contemporary cynic, physically beautiful and sexually adept, who dwells in the moral vacuum that is modern life. As the book opens, he is driving along a dark road when he is distracted by what seems to be a flight of arrows. He crashes into a ravine and suffers horrible burns over much of his body. As he recovers in a burn ward, undergoing the tortures of the damned, he awaits the day when he can leave the hospital and commit carefully planned suicide—for he is now a monster in appearance as well as in soul.

  1. I wasn’t interested in this one til I heard Fantasy Book Critic’s review, then I just had to have it. Luckily, I won a contest over at Read Stree where I could choose one of 10 books. Most were chick lit but The Gargoyle was on there too! I just got it in the mail, but I’ve promised myself not to read it until I get caught up on some other books first.

  2. I got an ARC of this one, read it way back in May, and counted down to the release date–and kept reminding my friends about it till then. Go get it. Now.
