I don’t know about you but ebooks are sort of expensive. Aren’t they? When I first got my Kindle, they were usually cheaper than their paper counterparts but lately, that hasn’t been the case. That’s why I was so excited to receive an email from Harper Perennial about the deal they have right now. Twenty of their backlisted ebooks are being offered for only 99 cents each!
Check out this post over at The Olive Reader for more info. Click on any of the indie store links for a list of titles available at this price. You can also get them from your favorite online retailer. I’ve got my eye on the Sampsell book.
You are probably wondering why I am even bringing September into the conversation since it’s barely August, right? Well, a long time ago I mentioned the Indie Lit Awards and asked you all to keep track of your favorite reads for 2011. Do you remember? No? Well, the Indie Lit Awards will be selecting the best books of 2011 and in September, book bloggers can nominate their picks!
There are rules and all that, which will be outlined on the nomination pages once they open, but basically…if you are a book blogger and have a 2011 book that you loved, you can nominate it! So mark your calendars because September is almost here!
