The Music Man has ended and I am back at work today trying to get motivated. Emphasis on “trying”. It’s amazing how much stacks up when you are gone for just a couple of days. My son did a great job as the Constable. His costume was three sizes too big but in the end, it sort of looked funny that way and seemed to work for what he needed it for.
My son is a funny kid. He is one of those that blends right into a scene if he needs to (he is the 10-year-old in this picture). We were all cracking up backstage because he ended up in scenes that he wasn’t supposed to be in, just because he wanted to be there. He was like Zelig.
All of the performers did an amazing job and the pics are starting to pop-up all over Facebook. I love musical theatre and look forward to The Wizard of Oz which starts in March. Yep! One short month of rest.
Now I can catch-up on all my reading and TV watching and not to mention…blogging!
Note: sorry if you got this three times in your reader. I am having formatting issues!
Thank you for participating in my giveaway of Ransom My Heart! The response was great and I am so excited to be sending it to one lucky reader. In case you were wondering, my favorite book-to-movie adaptation is Breakfast At Tiffany’s. A lot you mentioned The Notebook. I am going to have to read the book and then see the movie.
Now for the winner… Each comment was assigned a number in the order in which it was received and entered into Random.org’s integer generator. The winner is…Mindy (hasama)! Congratulations! I hope you enjoy the book! I am sending you an email now!
Note: The winner will have 10 days to respond to the notification email. If no response within that 10 day period a new winner will be selected.
