In previous years I’ve chosen, Simplicity, Discover, and Connect but this year it seemed crucial for me to settle on a word that would have a lot of impact on how I live my life. CHANGE, is that word.
Have you chosen a word for 2019? The ones I’ve seen thus far have been really good.

Great word! You’ve got this!

This is an awesome word!

Challenge is my word. After major ankle surgery and 3 rounds of physical therapy I feel I’m up to the challenge to regain my strength and stamina. And it will be a challenge.

In this case, the challenge is both physical and mental. Just keep putting that challenge before you. In a year’s time, you will be better for it.

Love your word and it would have been a good fit for me.
My word is Adventure.

I love the word adventure for others but if I am honest, I am not at all adventurous. I prefer to stick with what I know but I envy anyone who has an adventurous nature.

‘Change’ is a great word, Ti. And it can mean so many things – easy things and hard things. Good luck with it!

That’s how I see it. Some changes I have already made, others will require more effort and consistency. I just cannot live this way! The running, has got to stop.

That is a good word!
I’m not deliberately selecting a word this year. I always do so poorly with them, and the guilt I feel about that probably is not healthy. So no defining word for me, but I have loved those I have seen from others!

It definitely should not create guilt. I feel like I failed miserably at life the past three months. On the outside, it’s not noticable. But I was not doing so great in so many areas and it was pure exhaustion and just being uninspired by everything. The only thing left is change, or wither away until I am a blubbering heap of patheticness. If that isn’t a word it should be.
You and I are just always so busy. It’s good stuff mostly but runs a person down. And we are heading into production week soon here.

Change is a good word: it reminds me of the Obamas a bit … as that was his slogan. I like Vicki’s Adventure word …. but maybe mine might be Prioritize or …… something else Productive ?
By susan on January 4, 2019 at 2:52 pm
I feel like you are very productive! You read so much, watch all the good movies and still travel and play tennis!

Change is a great word because it can mean different things to you at different times of the year.

That word pretty well sums up everything. Good choice!

Great idea!

Change is a fantastic word, and one I think we’ll see more of this year. I hope that it motivates you to continue improving your life. I haven’t chosen a word this year, since I seem to forget about it every year.
