I spent a lovely afternoon with some fellow book bloggers. We met at the Aroma Cafe which also houses Portrait of a Bookstore. The cafe’s food was really good and the bookstore, albeit small, had a very nice selection of books. However, I went there looking for a very specific book, Lauren Child’s The Princess and the Pea and they did not have it so I went home empty-handed. Here are some pics. Tracy, thanks for sharing them!

Amy of My Friend Amy and Jill/Softdrink of Fizzy Thoughts.

Me and my Christmas exchange book. Thanks Amy!

Florinda of The 3R’s Blog.

Here’s one of the group and in this one you can see Tracy of Shelf Life. She is sitting between Florinda and myself. I was so glad that Jill made the drive down. It was a nice surprise! When are we doing it again?
You guys look like you had so much fun!
We did!
I love the look of that cafe – so quaint! And of course I’m madly jealous. The only blogger I’ve ever met in real life was Jennifer from Literate Housewife and we had so much fun. Thanks for sharing Ti!
I hope to meet you someday Sandy!
You didn’t go home empty handed – you got The Piano Teacher! The meet-up looks like so much fun! I wish I could find some bloggers close to me.
That’s true!! I went home with a great book and didn’t spend any money. Yay!
So jealous that you were able to meet up with some of my favorite authors!!! Glad you had a wonderful time!
This looks so fun! And so many Snack Cakes!!!
And don’t think it wasn’t mentioned that we were on the WINNING team. 😀
I had a fantastic time…as I told Amy, you all are worth the drive (and so was the bookstore!).
I know and look how skinny Softdrink is!!! She looks amazing!
Okay now I’m even “greener with envy”…LOL All of you look so great and like you are having a fabulous time too.
Such a nice lunch and meet-up–can’t wait for the festival of books, and hope we can get together even before that!
What fun and what a charming place to meet! You’re so lucky to be close to enough bloggers to be able to do that.
“When are we doing it again?” is the question – can’t be soon enough for me! It’s a LONG time till the Festival of Books in April :-). Great seeing you yesterday!
What a lovely shop! I am jealous on so many levels….you have great shops like that one, you got to meet such fun bloggers, and that you will most likely get to do it again!
*smiles*
wow..looks like a blast. I am so jealous.
What fun! And what a great place to meet!
How fun … and it looks like a fun meeting place! I don’t think I’d seen a photo of Fizzy Thoughts so that was cool!
Fun, fun!!! Having met all of you I know what great fun you all had. So jealous.
Looks like you all had a great time. Geez, Amy, you are everywhere.
What a great time! Thanks for sharing the pics.

Great pictures! I was so sad to miss this; even moreso now that I’ve seen the pictures. Next time, for sure.
What a fun idea! I’m going to check out the other ladies blogs right now:)
Great photos. What fun you look to be having.
Ti:
Sorry, I’m soooo late.
Looks like you all had a good time.
Blogger meet-ups are the best. Only been involved in one so far and it was awesome. Glad you enjoyed yours.
Fun! That cafe looks adorable … I bet you all talked and talked (and talked!) way past the time your plates were cleared.
Big grins all around!
