What is the name of your local library? What city is it located in?
Valencia Library and it’s located in the City of Santa Clarita, California.
How often do you go to the library? If you’re a regular, do the staff know you?
I go as often as I can but our library has no staff! Well, very few librarians. We have automated check-out stations. Not very personal.
Do you browse while you’re there or just pick up items you have placed on reserve?
Browse and pick-up.
What is your favorite thing about your local library?
That is where my book club meets!

Automated check-out and check-in is nice, but can be very impersonal. At least you still get your books!

My library has self check-out, but still manages to keep some staff on board also–how sad to not have nay librarians.
