Read-a-Thon: Hour 10

Currently Reading: Guernsey (liking it better now)

Pages Read Since Last Update: 20… so sad. Will make up for it later tonight when kids are asleep.

Total Pages Thus Far: 304

What I’m Eating/Drinking: I had a glass of iced “fake” tea (Crystal Light) since I cannot drink the real stuff and a bowl of Mac and Cheese.

Activities: I’m about to take a little break.

Random Tidbits: Had a brief discussion with the air conditioning guy. It’s gonna cost us $5200 to replace the unit. UGH!! I think the news of this distracted me from my reading. Boy is better. Not as sick as we thought so now he is doing homework, and wishing he stayed sick!

Ti’s Comfy Factor (5 being Comfy): 3-ish. Ate too fast and you know how that goes.

  1. Hello form Northern CA! Sorry to hear about the AC. Ugh is right.

Good luck with the rest of the read-a-thon and have fun!

  2. YOu are doing such a great job! It is really hard to stay concentrated with kids, no matter how old they are they are just the best distrcters ever. You are a champ! I hope you are having a blast.

  3. Keep plugging away! I’m so impressed with all of you who are doing this — you’re doing great! Just wanted to stop by and cheer you on…

  4. That crazy expensive from the AC guy. So sorry. That stinks.

I think you’ll like Guernsey once you get more involved with the characters. At least I found that I did.

  5. I like your comfy-factor, just sorry you’re not experiencing a higher comfiness(?) (And sorry about the AC, that stinks!)

Happy Reading! I’m still around commenting! 😀

  6. Sorry you’re not so comfy now – the news from the a/c guy would be enough to make my comfy factor go down.

  7. Yikes on the price of your air conditioner. Don’t feel bad I’m not getting much reading done either. I stopped stressing over it. I’m commenting and stuff too, it’s about the whole process, not just the reading I think. I must have missed where your son was sick. Glad he’s feeling better.
