Mailbox Monday: April 13, 2009

Mailbox Monday is hosted by Marcia over at The Printed Page. It’s your chance to share what you’ve received by mail this past week. I did pretty well this past week:

Cemetery Dance by Douglas Preston & Lincoln Child ( Hachette ARC, coming out 5/12)

Hope’s Boy by Andrew Bridge (won over at Books on the Brain)

Shanghai Girls by Lisa See (from LT Early Reviewers program)

What did you get in the mail this week?

  1. I am seeing Lisa See’s new book all over the blogs. I loved Snow Flower! I hope you enjoy this new one! I didn’t get anything new, but I did check out Etta from the library last week.

  2. I got Shanghai Girls and am still trying to sit on my hands and not read it yet since it doesn’t come out until June. It’s tough though! My mailbox is < HREF="http://booknaround.blogspot.com/2009/04/mailbox-monday.html" REL="nofollow">here<>.

  3. I love the cover of Cemetery Dance – it makes me want to pick up the book and see what it’s about. I look forward to your review!

  4. It’s hard to resist SHANGHAI GIRLS, but I’ve got other books to review first. Don’t know if I can hold out . . .

  5. As you know, I LOVED Shanghai Girls. I can’t wait to see what you thought of it. These other books look good too. Enjoy.

  6. I have <>Shanghai Girls<>, too. Sounds like a good one. Enjoy your new books!

  7. I have GOT to get my hands on that new Lisa See. I read Peony in Love and Snow Flower and was totally drawn into them. I look forward to reading your review and hope it is as good as her previous works.

  9. You’ve reminded me how behind I am in the Preston/Child books. I am looking forward to reading Shanghai Girls. I recently received that one in the mail too. Enjoy your new books!

  10. Thank you for stopping by the mailbox this week. I see ‘Shanghai Girls’ is making the rounds. I’ve read it. It was good just not my favorite of hers. Enjoy your books!
