I was tagged by Jennifer of The Literate Housewife to take part in this meme. I think this originally started out as Six Things I Love but I looked around the blogosphere and it has morphed into Six Things That Make Me Happy, so I am going with it.
The rules for the tag are simple:
Link to the person who has tagged you.
Write down six things that make you happy.
Post the rules, tag six others and let them know you did it.Then tell the person when your entry is complete (I never tag! I’m a rebel that way).
Six Things That Make Me Happy
1. Family time makes me happy. No rushing around. No errands to run. Just sitting with family around me.
2.Vacations make me happy. Doesn’t matter where. I’m there, and I’m happy.
3. Books in the mail. I don’t think this will ever get old for me. When I see a package in the mail, with my name on it, then I’m happy but if it has a book inside, then I am thrilled! That was a really long sentence.
4. A clutter free house. I cannot function in clutter. I have to de-clutter the house or at least my immediate living space before doing anything else.
5. Cooking on Sundays. I never have the time to cook a decent meal so I love my cooking Sundays because whatever I am cooking, cooks all day, makes the house smell great and I have leftovers all week long.
6. Curling up with a good book on a rainy day. Add some hot chocolate or tea to that equation and then I am really happy!
As I said, I won’t tag but if you want to list some of the things that make you happy then please do so!
Freaky formatting issue again! Sorry!
This could almost be my list! I cook all week, though, so usually our Sunday dinner is light – other than that, the list is totally me.
I love your list! Except the cooking one, I don’t really like cooking and would much rather someone else cook, like the chef at a restaurant! LOL
I love the graphic, Ti! Great answers and thanks so much for playing along!
GReat stuff Ti. Books in the mail make me so happy too which is crazy considering how many I have on the shelf already. lol.
