2008 Lists: Here They Come

I don’t know about you but I love a good list. Something about them puts my mind at ease. The organization, the structure, the fact that someone else has done the work for me. I’m not sure but as 2008 closes, the lists are coming out of the woodwork.

NPR has put several book lists all in one spot and if you are like me on a lazy, Friday afternoon, you’ll probably spend the rest of the day taking a look. Click here to join me and then if you feel chatty, let me know which books you loved in 2008.

The book that I enjoyed the most this year was a book that came out in 2007 (go figure). That book being Mister Pip.

  1. Hmmm, I haven’t really thought about my favorite yet, but I did find one on the NPR site to add to my list…World Made by Hand.

  2. I always love the NPR book lists best of all. I really liked perusing the foreign fiction list this year and hope to read quite a few from it …Shana< HREF="http://blog.literarily.com" REL="nofollow">Literarily<>

  3. Well, of course I love booklists! I’m looking forward to everyone’s in the coming weeks in the blog world and beyond. I liked the NPR list – The Splendid Table’s cookbook is great for cooking and reading and I surely agree that it is one of the best.
