Swimming In Books

Posting has been a little slow lately. I am being a good, little book blogger and catching up on my reading.

Just yesterday, I had these titles come in:

Testimony by Anita Shreve
We Need To Talk About Kevin by Lionel Shriver
Misadventures of Oliver Booth by David Desmond
Forever Lily by Beth Nonte Russell

On top of the ones listed, I have about seven that I need to review within the next couple of weeks. I really should not have taken the time to see High School Musical 3 on Tuesday but having never seen a High School Musical movie I figured, why not? Hello! Zac Efron is cute! Yeah, I know he is like 21 but he is so adorable! My son was mortified that I was ogling him. Like daughter like mother though. My little five year-old has a crush on him now. So sweet.

Okay, back to reading, ahem…work I mean.

  1. Hmmm, formatting looks fine on my browser 🙂I laughed at your son’s mortification … My 12 yr old daughter TIVOd last season of American Idol and I watched it with her the next afternoon. This mom was very happy to watch David Cook!

  2. I love getting books in the mail! My daughter has been trying to get me to watch the High School Musical movies but I just haven’t sat down to do it. I suppose I should just bite the bullet and watch one!

  3. Ti, I’m glad Testimony got to you so soon. Hey, we can still ogle if we want. lol.I really need to get reading too. I have so many review copies already that I’m drowning.I changed my comment box back to the old one again so hopefully you won’t have any more problems there.

  4. As you know, Ti, I know how you feel! Haven’t been getting a lot of books recently (which explains why there was no Mailbox Monday post on my blog this week), but I can certainly relate to the review backlog!Happy reading!

  5. There was an audible sigh in the theater when the girl and I saw HSM3 – when Zac takes off his shirt. He is really a cutie!

  6. Ti, I’m really surprised my daughter hasn’t asked to see this one yet. Good for you with the reading. I WISH I was a mere seven books behind!I’m thinking about doing this one, too, Ti. Good luck!Shana< HREF="http://blog.literarily.com" REL="nofollow">Literarily<>
