Don’t you love a good book sale? While many of you folks are participating in the Read-a-Thon, I had to run errands and came across a book sale. A LIBRARY book sale. I figure this makes up for my overdue book.
I had the kidlets and hubby in tow and they were all restless so I only ended up with three books:
- East of the Mountains, by David Guterson
- My Antonia, Willa Cather
- The Pilot’s Wife, by Anita Shreve
Anyone read any of these? Now that I am back (and kidlet #2 fell asleep on my leg) I am going to go see how you guys are doing with the Read-a-Thon.
The Pilot’s Wife is fabulous!
Good for you Ti! The Pilot’s Wife is awesome! I’ve heard My Antonia is good too but I haven’t read it.
What Kathy and Dar said – <>The Pilot’s Wife<> is wonderful! Enjoy your finds Ti.
Ohhh how I love me some book sales!>>I also really enjoyed The Pilots Wife!
Library book sales are great! I have been using booksalemanager.com to look for more. So far I have found 2 within 30 min of my house that I was unaware of!
The best part about feeding the book addiction is supporting libraries while doing so.
