I first read about this idea over at She Is Too Fond of Books. I think it’s wonderful so I am following her lead and posting my plans for the week and will try to do so each Monday.

Monday, August 25, 2008 – I am on PTO (Parent Teacher Organization) and we have our first board meeting tonight at 6:30pm. I am going to propose that we start a PTO blog so parents can get the info they need, when they need it. I would be the one to create it so I would be able to continue my love of blogging. How cool is that?

Tuesday, August 26, 2008 – Dental appt for my son so that means I get to leave work early. Finishing up Mister Pip, which is my book group selection for this month. I hope to have the time to write the review up and post it here as well. Will depend on whether or not the kids did their homework beforehand.

Wednesday, August 27, 2008 – My book group pick for next month is The Meaning of Night: A Confession. I hope to crack this open tonight.

Thursday, August 28, 2008 – Teaching a class today but after that, I plan to write up a first draft of the post that I am writing for Joshua Henkin in September, that will be posted here of course.

Friday, August 29, 2008 – I always use Friday to catch-up on all that I did not accomplish during the week. I also need to catch-up on some Netflix movies that I have had for way too long.

The Weekend: Labor Day weekend to boot. That means no work on Monday. We are not traveling anywhere but may do a cook-out or two. I am looking forward to it.
