Thank you for participating in my giveaway of Tethered! Here in California, we don’t have real seasons so it was nice to read about your fall festivals and what you especially like about Halloween.

In case you are wondering what my favorite part of Halloween is… (admit it), my favorite part of Halloween is seeing all of the costumes and watching the small kids trick-or-treat for the very first time. Oh, and I cannot forget the Reese’s peanut butter cups. It’s the only time of the year I eat them!

Tethered, by Amy MacKinnon, was sent to me as part of the Read it Forward program. Here is the blurb from Barnes & Noble:

Clara Marsh is an undertaker who doesn’t believe in God. She spends her solitary life among the dead, preparing their last baths and bidding them farewell with a bouquet from her own garden.
