Read-a-Thon: Hour 1

It’s a little after 5am and I am up and ready to go! I have my books piled next to me, I’m freshly showered and dressed too! I’m not sure how frequently I will post but I am shooting for every two hours. Have fun everyone!

This is the template I plan to use:

Read-a-Thon 2009 – I’m Off The Fence!

For weeks I have been on the fence about the upcoming 24-hour Read-a-Thon. I’ve got kids, a husband that bores easily and a ton of stuff to do this weekend but I am going to give it a shot! For those that haven’t a clue about what I am talking about click here.

Since I decided to join this so late in the game, I don’t have time to put together a vlog like some of the other bloggers but here’s my list. I’m sure I will add stuff to it as I go along because I have no idea what to expect of my attention span and comfort levels until the day of the event.

The Spare Room by Helen Garner
The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society by Mary Ann Shaffer
Love and Biology at the Center of the Universe by Jennie Shortridge
The Red Leather Diary by Lily Koppel

I hope everyone has a blast. If you are still on the fence about joining then jump off (like I did) Click here to sign up!
