I’m free!!!! Yep, I was excused yesterday. I quickly tired of the waiting even though I was catching up on all of my reading. Reading a good book while sitting on a really uncomfortable bench was a bit much for me. I longed for my comfy couch from home. I am about done with the two books I took with me so I should have some reviews for you soon.

I have been checking out book blogs from all over and everyone seems to be in high gear as far as reading right now. Not sure if it is just the time of the year or if there are just soooo many good choices out there now or what but I am loving everyone’s reviews. When I hear others talk about books they love.. I just have to go out and get them. It’s what I do. Check out the section of my blog titled “Sites for Book Lovers” and you’ll be inspired to read more too.

So for those of you that are still on the fence about making time to read… (as one large athletic apparel company says) Just do it!

Hi, hope you have all been well. On my last day of call-in (a Friday no less) I was instructed to report for jury duty. I am in the middle of the selection process so do not know at this time if I will stay or go, but I have been catching up on all of my reading. That’s always an added bonus.

For all the moms out there, I hope you had a lovely Mother’s Day. My husband and kids took me for a yummy brunch and then we headed to Santa Barbara for the day. We checked out all the book stores (new and used) and had a nice, relaxing day.

Hope this week goes by quickly.
