2012 in Review: Top Commenters and Top Posts

I hardly ever look at stats but WordPress created this awesome report and is allowing me to share it! Thank you top commenters and everyone else who stops by this blog.

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2012 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

19,000 people fit into the new Barclays Center to see Jay-Z perform. This blog was viewed about 75,000 times in 2012. If it were a concert at the Barclays Center, it would take about 4 sold-out performances for that many people to see it.

  1. Wasn’t this the coolest report? I loved mine … but it is weird to see what posts are the most popular (it is obvious it is linked to the search terms that bring people to you.)

    1. Yes. The top posts must be linked to search terms and not necessarily the number of comments because I have other posts with more comments than what was listed in the report.

  2. That is just the coolest thing! I am a little ashamed at myself though that I wasn’t in the top five commenters. I need to work on my game.

    1. I used Blogger for the first 2-3 years of blogging and it just didn’t work for me. WP is so much easier to use and more reliable IMO.
