I’m so glad it’s Sunday. I’ve had a rough week. Kidlet #2 is not feeling 100% and when she feels that way, she is very difficult to reason with. I hate to think what she is going to be like when it’s “that” time of the month. Shudder.
So anyway, she woke up at 12:30am, yeah…AM, and did not want to go back to sleep so I am a walking zombie today. I thought some fresh air would help us all so we headed to the park to ride bikes. Nice idea except it is WINDY and COLD here and now I have a bit of a headache. Not what I was going for.
Now that we are back home. I sent Kidlet #1 to a friend’s house to play and now #2 is watching brainless TV while my medication kicks in. LOL. After that I hope to read a bit. I’m looking forward to an uneventful evening.
For those that live in windy cities… how do you tolerate it? I always feel so scattered after being in the wind. Hair looks like a birds’ nest, static cling everywhere, etc. Good thing I’m not going anywhere else today.
This is our third time living in Greenville and it’s always windy. What’s weird is that I didn’t remember it being windy when we lived here before. Some days I wonder why I even bother to brush my hair.
It’s windy here too, but I guess I just don’t notice after a while. It does get my attention when I have the bug out in the wind, but that’s about it. (The bug is 6 months old, he really doesn’t like the wind!)
Ti, up since 12:30 a.m.???? Oh, you poor thing. I hope you and your kiddos feel better soon!
Ti, I hope your daughter and you feel better today. I don’t do wind at all-I always get a migraine on windy days even if it’s a warm wind.
