I haven’t done any shopping for Thanksgiving food, mostly because we’re going to be visiting relatives, so I don’t have to cook. :)

I did have an interesting experience with dinner last night though. We used a different fajita spice packet last night and it was just awful. It was kind of sad because we’d been looking forward to the meal all week. My husband felt the worst of all because he was the one that got the wrong brand of spice mix. Fortunately it was easy to just toss the fajita mix and make bean and cheese soft tacos with the rest of the ingredients.

Oh, and weather-wise we’ve got lots of cool windy weather here. I hope it stays nice and cool for Thanksgiving for you.

Yes, it’s time. But we did buy some books for the holidays (and I got a couple for myself, too!) :-) .

I think we’ve decided on the Thanksgiving menu. I just need to put everything on next week’s shopping list. Yikes, it’s less than two weeks away!

I’ll be glad to experience Moby Dick vicariously through y’all – I’m OK with never having read it, to be honest.
